Aequum Tuticum - Ariano Irpino

The site of the ancient Aequum Tuticum (or Magnum), a city of Samnite origin. It is probably characterized as a vicus, a term that, in Roman civilization, indicates an aggregate, both rural and urban, of houses and lands that did not have a civil administration like the municipality or the Roman colonies.
