The Church of San Sebastiano is located in the Municipality of Visciano (NA). In its current configuration, it is from the Baroque period. To the left of the entrance you can see the magnificent canvas of the Madonna on the clouds surrounded by angels, where at her feet are St. Dominic, St. Catherine, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Gennaro, St. Biagio. The canvas is surrounded by small paintings depicting the 15 Mysteries of the Rosary. It was painted on the occasion of the foundation of the Congregation of the SS. Rosario in 1710. The wooden statue of St. Sebastian, protector of the town, dominates. On the left S. Aniello and S. Lucia. The people of Visciano hold this church in high regard, which, by its construction, should date back to the 13th century. read less
