The execution reveals the spirit of the Liberty style in vogue at the time of the creation of the work. The niche above, also in marble, was commissioned, instead, in 1910-1911 "To the devotion of the American Lyonnais residing in Nowark and Gladeston N.J.", as stated in the dedication engraved in the lower part.
