Preta Re Lo Piesco - Frigento

Pietra re lo Piesco was a place of worship since its origins. The site was entrusted to the monks of the monastery of Santa Sofia (BE) until the 12th century. Subsequently, control of Pietra passed into the hands of the monks of Montevergine. Then around the 13th century a violent earthquake damaged the place and for this reason it was abandoned.
