Since the times of ancient Rome, the territory of the Campania Region that goes from Nolano to the Picentini Mountains was characterized by a "landscape of nuts" where natural beauty is combined with agricultural productivity, where hazelnut and chestnut groves are integrated into hilly and then mountainous areas offering picturesque scenery and a strong connection with the agricultural territory.
In spring, the landscape comes alive with the flowering of hazelnut, walnut and chestnut groves.
Summer brings the ripening of the fruits, and the landscape is a mosaic of dark and vibrant greens.
In autumn, this landscape transforms into a spectacle of warm colors. The leaves of the chestnut, hazelnut and walnut trees turn from yellow to amber, creating a lively contrast with the dark brown of the fallen walnuts and hazelnuts and the open chestnut shells. The hills and mountains are filled with activity, with people busy harvesting the fruit
The landscape of nuts is not only a place of production, but also an ecosystem rich in biodiversity and a deep connection between tradition and nature.
